Vertical Stacking:
Another common way of arranging tires in metal tire rack is by vertical stacking. As the name suggests in this case all the tires are stacked one above the other. This can also be easily executed but not as easy as horizontal stacking.
With fire these type of arrangement works good, as it helps the water to reach all the tires at a good speed. The only challenge here is that sometimes, the water might not reach the place in the tire where the heat exposure is most.

Lacing Technique:
Another common way is to lace up all the tires together. This is a phenomenal choice when it comes to transportation of tires. It helps in easy movement of tires and keeps them from falling.
It does get a little bit difficult to access a single tire when arranged in this type of arrangement. But the good thing here is that with fire it works exceptionally well-helping water to reach all the parts of tires.
